Oh come on …..it’s funny!

“A Gasoline Substitute”
A man was driving down the road and ran out of gas. Just at that moment,
a bee flew in his window.

The bee said, “What seems to be the problem”?

“I’m out of gas.”

The bee told the man to wait right there and flew away.

Minutes later, the man watched as an entire swarm of bees flew to his car
and into his gas tank.

After a few minutes, the bees flew out.

“Try it now,” said one bee.

The man turned the ignition key and the car started right up.
“Wow!” the man exclaimed. “What did you put in my gas tank”?

The bee answered,….   BP

Lessons in life…

Lessons in life that you can’t be told but have to experience…… Riding a bike at full pelt and then pulling hard on the brakes is never a good idea :(

Joel stays in Oundle

Well thats the easter hols. Really enjoyed them. I often struggle in holidays as im not good with change of routine. But we’ve had some good family times. Joel really seems to be growing up. This his him staying in Oundle with grandparents when his cousins were there also. He loves being with them and seems to really thrive being away from us. He already talks about leaving home. :( i think he likes us really ;) anyway must stop. Time to think about going back to work……

Server Change

I have just swapped providers for my webspace which has meant moving this site. In the move I lost a couple of comments. Really sorry if yours was one of them. I will try to copy them over when I can – but if you were one of the people who’s comment has been lost, please post it again if you can. Thanks

Visiting Oundle

We are having a good time down in Oundle. Matt isn’t very well though. He has bad ear ache. Makes things difficult when all chemists are shut for the bank holiday. Didn’t stop him eating chocolate though :)

Easter Hols….

Went to see Mr Bean today with Joel. Good fun – not amazing but good fun.

Also went to see Bradford Bulls play Leeds Rhinos tonight with Ben & Carl. Great game. Bradford lost but deserved to win – some pretty dodgy refereeing. What amazed me was that I have tended to support Leeds Rhinos but standing amongst all the Bradford supporters I really wanted to support Bradford. You may say “no surprise there” as I probably wanted to avoid a good kicking. But it was more than that – it was wanting to be a part of the crowd. I really wanted to belong rather than to go against. Interesting insight into crowd mentality, especially when you ask the really serious questions about why people in the past have gone along with some of the horrible things that have been done in their countries. The need to belong is very powerful………..

Also had The Biggest Kebab in the World Ever â„¢ just round the corner from the stadium. It was from a place called ‘The Balti Ranch’. It was UNBELIEVABLE the size of kebab they gave me. Just feeing the weight of the thing made me feel full. Anyway – here is a picture of Carl eating his…..the picture doesn’t do it justice.

There are some comments relating to this post in the comments section after the ‘server change’ post. I had to copy them over after I swapped servers………
