Out with friends in york

We are just on our way back from hull after seeing mum and dad. We stopped off at beverley westwood for a picnic and then had burgess’ ice cream (which was always a special treat when i was a kid). Joel is away on a residential this week and is having a great time. It is strange having 2 kids again… Pip and i went to see mamma mia! yesterday. It was great fun.

On the way to london with pip and no kids. Yay!

Im on another training weekend. Here are my fellow ordinands at a bus stop in manchester heading off to a synagogue. Cathedral evensong later and them catholic mass to finish. Should be fun!

I am away for the week at wakefield police college doing some vicar training. Its been a good week so far. Here are a couple of my fellow trainees that i am currently enjoying a pint with.

Am on st mikes mens weekend. Having great time as always.

We are having a lovely evening with good friends to celebrate mum and dad’s ruby wedding anniversary. Having a great time.

I took Joel for his first kebab tonight. It felt like a very important moment. He said that ‘it tasted heavenly’. He asked me what meat it was and of course i told him that some things are meant to be a mystery….

Matty and me are playing butthead. You may laugh but we make it look good….

We are camping in our newly acquired caravan this weekend. Its hard work! Kids were up very early this morning but rest of the day has been good. Had good meal at a pub in rosedale. Thats what makes camping fun- all the pub meals
